lot more infformal, the film maker s inntoruded there films, and then when they went back out into the crowd afterwards, questions and answers were more passed at the bar,

Main feed back from the night was

"Great idea , the enviroment means you can jsut go up and talk to anyone as you all know you are there for the same reason"

and as far as i know, no one from this board went

i use 4 21 inch monitors at work, i browse the web in the top right hand corner, cos of the resolution settings each of these posts appear gigantic, it is your profile pick soul films is DAMM annoying !

I've been in conversation with a yank, and apparently 'over there' they do a cool scene referred to as 'brew and view' where the focus is on socialising rather than networking (I know it's a fine line sometimes) -- ie it's paying public rather than film wannabes. Just think that something similar could be a good spin-off. Public opinion is always a better measure of how good you are, rather than the opinion of peers or people who want to work with you ;-)

Anyways, sounds like a good night. If I can organise my life I intend to make the next one.

I take it that even people with no interest in filmmaking can come along too?
